Charitable Cesar, and DC Scores

Screaming Eagle Cesar Delgado (pictured above, with the towel around his neck) is originally from Lima, Peru, and has never forgotten his roots. He returns to Lima regularly to help Peruvian children (who have a much harder time getting sports fields to play on and equipment to play with than we do here in the US). At our Oktoberfest tailgate (September 28) the Screaming Eagles presented Cesar with a check of $1000 from the Screaming Eagles to help the Peruvian children. That's our president, Jimi Butler, with his back to the camera handing the microphone to Cesar after giving him the check (which is in Cesar's left hand).

Cesar is in Peru right now. Thanks for representing the best of what we try to be as a supporter's group, Cesar.

PS: The charity we have supported for many years, DC Scores, is having a One Night One Goal fundraiser event at Audi Field on October 17 from 6 to 930pm. Screaming Eagles members can get a 50% discount by using the code "half off onog" (all together, all caps).
