United Nothing But Nets Fun-draiser When: Wednesday, April 1st 7pm-10pm Where: Garrett’s of Georgetown, 3003 M Street, NW Ben Olsen and at least two other DC United players will be on hand this Wednesday to raise money and awareness for the Nothing But Nets Challenge, a four team contest featuring Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and DC United. The Nothing But Nets initiative was founded by the United Nations foundation in an effort to fight Malaria in Africa, where 3,000 children die each day from the deadly disease. For just $10, a family of four can sleep under a medicated bednet for up to four years. Come and enjoy watching the US men’s national team take on Trinidad and Tobago with a World Cup veteran and DC United star.
