The Screaming Eagles are not only fully committed to supporting DC United in the stands, but also in the community as well. Throughout the club’s history we have been involved in several projects with both local and national charities to help promote DC United, the Screaming Eagles and the sport of soccer.
During the 2008 season we will be expanding our outreach efforts exponentially and will be involved in a host of events every month, so check back regularly for updates and come join us in the community.
We will, of course, continue to support United for D.C.’s Kicks for Kids program with sponsorships that allow hundreds of inner-city, at-risk or other under-served youth the “game-day experience” this season.
We will also be expanding our support of adult participation in the sport by sponsoring more teams this year. Our SEFC WISL, SEFC Montgomery County, SEFC WAWSL and SEFC Richmond teams will be augmented by new additions in leagues throughout our community.
Proceeds from the sales of tickets in “the Aerie” and Screaming Eagles merchandise go towards funding our outreach efforts. Please take a moment to shop in our store and help us expand our reach.
