Over the years the Screaming Eagles have put on numerous events, some that have featured attendance by a few DC United staff/players or in some instances the whole team.
Our biggest event is the annual Capitol Soccer Ball which is a charity fundraiser (past beneficiaries include: D.C. Scores, The D.C. Metropolitan Police Boys and Girls Club, the Eddie Pope Foundation and United for D.C. ).
Another fan favorite is our legendary pub quizzes that have been fundraisers for such charities as Mike Petke’s Kick the Violence Foundation and United for D.C.
For 2008, we are planning for our exclusive members-only Meet the Team event as part of our SE Homecoming weekend (August 30-September 1, 2008, stay tuned for more details to come soon).
