The Screaming Eagles Nest is all standing, all cheering and all bouncing! We are centrally located along the midfield (sections 131, 132, 133 & 134 and the front rows of section 232). Because we control the ticketing for these sections, we can offer you a discount! Information on prices, payment, and deadlines is provided below. Questions? Where is the Nest?
The Screaming Eagles invite you to join us in the Nest at RFK Stadium (sections 132, 133 and 134)) to enjoy supporting DC United in the “traditional fashion” that is, by standing, cheering, and singing. Tickets for the Nest may be ordered in advance or purchased on match day.
The only way to sit in the Nest is to get tickets from the Screaming Eagles. You cannot buy these tickets through Ticketmaster, DC United, or the box office at the stadium. Seats in the Nest are reserved exclusively for sale by the Screaming Eagles.
What is the Perch?
The Perch includes the front rows of section 232, right behind the Nest. Seating is assigned. Both season tickets and match day tickets are available in the Perch. For big games, the Perch is the first area where we add additional seats. This is a standing section and fans participate in the SE tifo activities.
What is the Aerie?
If you are interested in bringing your team, coworkers, family or friends to introduce them to RFK you may also purchase seats that help fund our outreach efforts by going here for more information.
Ordering Tickets in Advance
How to order: Reserve seats by sending an e-mail request to tickets@screaming-eagles.com. Tell us which match, how many seats, and your preferred location (General Admission or the Reserved seats). You may also order by calling the Screaming Eagles ticket hotline: 202-544-6744, voice mailbox #1.
When to order: Advance ticket orders are accepted until 4:00 pm Friday prior to a weekend match, and 4:00 pm on the day before a weekday match (Tuesday for a Wednesday match).
Price: Tickets ordered in advance are $28.00 each (face value, $32.00).
Payment: Non-members must provide credit card information (your name as it appears on the card, card number, expiration date, 3-digit number from the back of the card, and your billing zip code) when ordering tickets. Please include a telephone number where you can be reached. Visa and MasterCard are preferred, although is Discover is also accepted. SE members may use credit cards, or pay cash when picking up their tickets at the Screaming Eagles ticket window on match day. Members are strongly encouraged to prepay by credit card.
Confirmation: All orders are confirmed electronically. If you do not receive an acknowledgment from the Screaming Eagles, your order was either not received or arrived too late for processing.
Pick up: Tickets may be picked up at the Screaming Eagles ticket window, located in the white trailer near Gate B. The window opens an hour or two before each home game and closes at kick-off. Only pre-paid tickets not picked up by that time are taken to the DC United Will Call window in the stadium’s main box office. COD orders are not available after the SE window is closed, although you are still obligated to pay for the tickets.
Cancellation policy: You are expected to pay for your tickets whether or not you pick them up.
Buying Tickets on Match Day
Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the game for $32.00 each. Come to the Screaming Eagles ticket window in the white trailer lnear Gate B. Seats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Both members and non-members are welcome to purchase tickets in the Nest or Perch. Cash and credit cards accepted. A word of warning: tickets may not be available if we are sold out in advance.
Group Sales
If you are planning to bring a group of 15 or more, you may order tickets at the discounted price of $25.00 each. Please follow the procedures described under “Ordering Tickets in Advance.”
Ticket Exchanges; Flex Plan Vouchers
If you have full or half-season tickets in the Nest or Perch, you may take advantage of DC United’s ticket exchange program by sending your tickets to DC United at least a week before the game. You will receive replacement tickets in a section near your usual location. Flex plan vouchers for equivalently priced seats are not accepted at the SE ticket window.
