We Already Miss You!

Wow! What a World Cup!

Whether it is the colorful Google Doodles or the hilarious Men in Blazers, we are going to miss all the hooplah surrounding this epic event.

No more bossa nova or beach soccer scenes to offer a diversion anymore.

Crowd on in for Cup action

One Nation. One Team. One City!

Our city proved over and over again during the cup that the beautiful game has taken hold of residents as massive crowds packed outdoor gatherings from Reston to Dupont Circle to the heart of downtown.

Now we turn our attention to the battle for Buzzard Point! On July 19th, Councilmember Muriel Bowser will be holding a public roundtable on the proposed new stadium for D.C. United.

San Jose Smiles

Do You Know the Way to San Jose?

All the attention out West might have been on the return of Clint Dempsey in front of 64,000+ fans in Seattle, but an earlier late night match had more import for us.

Thanks to all the D.C. United fans who came out to Buck Shaw stadium on Friday night to cheer the side on to victory!

You-Cant-Hold-Us-Back

Hamid in the House!

No question about it, you can’t hold Bill back as he stood on his head with monster save after monster save to lead the defense in stealing the W from Wondo and the Quakes.

Can you believe it? A road victory streak leaves us atop the Eastern Conference and puts this side in terrific position as we head into the second half of the SEason.
