United Celebrates and You Can Too!

Loudly Raising Voices in Philly

Loud and Proud in Philly

It had to happen. The long nightmare on the road is over!

An impressive display by the Black and Red against the Union resulted in the sweet satisfaction of claiming all three points. In the end, it didn’t matter that Eddie Johnson was robbed yet again of a goal by an errant call from a referee, because Chris Rolfe had already done the damage six minutes in and the defense refused to break.

Bill Hamid’s incredible double save at point blank range and the stalwart effort of the entire backline silenced the River End and allowed Olsen’s Army to roar their appreciation!

We were all Sons of Ben for a day

All Part of the MLS Family

It is a rare occasion indeed when you can say that the snapping of an interminable away losing streak becomes secondary to what happened off the pitch at PPL Park.

The arm-in-arm camaraderie displayed by the most ardent fans of both clubs prior to the match for the Eric Shertz Memorial tailgate was a wonderful moment that speaks to the deep ties between the groups and a vibrant supporters’ culture that can come together in difficult times.

Jimi and the River End

Never a Bridge Too Far

Kudos for all the heavy lifting by Jeff Howdeshell and Jimi Butler for running the two busloads of our roadtrippers up to make scenic Chester, PA feel like our house! Special thanks to Nadine Traughber for catching some of the historic moments by being the photobug for a day.

However, there is no rest for our road warriors as the Send-Off Series Roadtrip to see USMNT vs. Turkey is just gearing up and you are all welcome to join in the fun.

Plenty on Tap to Bring Smiles

While we await word of what group Klinsi has decided to bring into the USMNT fold today prior to the World Cup in Brazil, there is much on our plate!

On Saturday, we return to RFK to make an impact on Montreal and continue our winning streak.

Nicole is also busy taking orders for the special double header at FEDEX.
