The Horror! The Horror!

One goal was horrifying enough after all that wasted possession for 80 odd minutes, but two?!!

Trick or Treat!

Perhaps someone thought it was Halloween and not Easter.

Leaving aside the scary details of the match itself – how about that opening day crowd! We may not have the fancy new stadium, but we do have passionate fans.

For all those who missed out, we might suggest ordering your tickets early for the Chicago Fire match which is just two weeks away and are selling fast.

The dynamic duo

Volunteers Wowed the Crowd

The tailgate was a smashing success and drew rave reviews from those who attended.

Given the adverse conditions, with the lack of parking and the torn up grounds, the dust and the hot day, this was a monumental undertaking.  I saw a lot of smiling faces and satisfied folks due to your super efforts.

Thank you one and all!

The SE tent city was erected in time to feed the masses

If your name was somehow mistakenly omitted – please contact Thea as the volunteers have all added a feather to their respective SE caps and are now eligible for some of the fab prizes we will be giving out over the course of the season.

Lost & Found

Did anyone see a small 6-pack soft-sided cooler, black and red with a handy opening on the top so you can fetch a beer without unzipping it, with some bottles of ice/water inside? We would hate for one of our hardest working volunteers to be left without this perfect little accessory.
