Doesn't look good for Perkins.  Makes you wonder if he has any trust in the ten players in black/white that he watches most of the game.

Perkins was poorly positioned, it would have been an easy save and United would have probably escaped with a point.

Yeah who the hell is the team captain, that wall is a joke.  Our defense is killing us with their lack of organization!  Poor Perkins ( as seen in the photo) cant use the wall and position himself on the other side of it.  You've got guys in there opening their legs and creating holes all over the place.  Curt better start doing some real coaching.  Our team looks like they haven't played a match together.

when i was watching the game, i made a comment about the wall and perkins. To start perkins is on the wrong side and so is the wall. I dont think that the 9 goals given up in 3 games is all on the defense. There is no midfield, and no ball possesion.

  • Perkin’s admitted fault.

Said after the match, “I see it a little bit late, maybe I’m just a half step, a step a little too far to the left. And just gave up too much.”

I saw it as it was setting up too. Troy was trying to get the wall to move left, and they didn't, so he couldn't feel confident the left was covered and cheat right. When the wall crumbled at the shot, there was that lost half-step.
