Biden and Bahr – Invasion Tips and Bars

The Boy from Scranton will be in the house A Living Legend

Joe and Walter’s Road Trip Tips

If you were wondering why there was going to be all this extra security at the Linc on Saturday… the answer is that a few special dignitaries will be in attendance! Of course, we are hoping that the VIP from Delaware jumps right into the S.O.B.’s mosh pit behind the opposite goal and lets fly a few choice expletives. He would fit right in!

With that in mind, if you’re heading up to Philly as part of the Union Busting Invasion Road trip please please please read through ALL the timing and security-related missives included in this earlier post.

Those gambling types are heading out today on their Atlantic City odyssey from Kitty O’Shea’s and the day of game buses will be following the same pattern tomorrow minus the boardwalk & baccarat tables.

Temps will be cool for the Philly trip!

A Few Helpful Hints for First Timers

SE road trips are a fabulous way to get to know other club members and even if the team doesn’t do well, we always have a great time wherever we go. Here are a few tips for the newbie to jump right in and mingle with the road trip warriors:

  1. Buses are pretty full, pack light for on board the bus -Big coolers and bags will have to ride in luggage compartment under bus.
  2. Bring music and DVDs to share – Mixed group so you can leave your X-rated and  Sesame Street videos at home.
  3. Bring food and drink – Stadium food is $$ and no organized tailgate fare will be provided.
  4. Extra TP & hand sanitizer - Probably more for the ladies, but gals this stuff runs out so don’t get caught short on bus or portapotties
  5. Bring Layers – It is going to get chilly and windy so be prepared with your SE scarves, hoodies, hats, etc.
  6. Follow SE leader & security instructions and stick with the group - We’ve made arrangements to keep you safe so please adhere to them. If you get tossed out of the stadium or if you are arrested you’re on your own.
  7. SE sections are not General Admission - Just like Nest at RFK.
  8. Be Flexible and Have Fun!
