We've learned through the blog Behind the Badge that D.C. United has chosen former K.C. Wizards coach Curt Onalfo as the new coach for the team. Onalfo has ties to United, having played for the team during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. He also served as an assistant coach and director of youth development from 2000 to 2002. He will be officially introduced at a press conference at RFK Stadium on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
