As a Columbus Crew supporter, I have always envied the love and admiration that DC has shown towards Benny. We have GBS and Frankie that we shower with love but it's pale in comparison to what Benny gets. When I hear DC United I picture Benny. He's that ingrained into the club. The guy has a heart bigger than Texas. But don't let that fool you, he's more than that. He's a pretty damn skilled player. I solute and raise my glass to Benny. He has meant so much to DCU, MLS, and US Soccer. I have no doubt he will continue to impact the game in some new role. Long live his legacy!

Ben has been the soul of the team. They always have played better as a team when he has been on the field. His spirit and tenacity are to be admired.
He gets my vote for the next Coach for DC United
