But we want to make SUPER sure that everyone gets the message that you MUST pre-order and pre-pay for your tailgate passes for the game on Sunday (NO EXCEPTIONS). We will not be taking any payments on-site. We’re having a catered tailgate SOMEWHERE at Fedex Field parking lots (STILL trying to finalize the location so we’ll get back to you with that and the timing). It’s not us, it’s them.
Cost is $10 for SE Members AND Non Members (includes food and drink). If you just want drinks it is also $10. (Your SE ID will not work for free drinks for this game).
Please send money via Paypal to payments@screaming-eagles.com (in the subject header put Real Madrid tailgate and in the notes section indicated how many passes you need). Your name will be on a list and you’ll receive your wristband when you check in. The deadline to order passes is Wednesday, August 5, by 8 pm. If you have questions, please contact Jeff.

We have a new t-shirt for the Real game (above), some new hats (in red, black and white) and then the Club and Country shirts (in time for the US-Mexico game on next Wednesday). Again, we’re not taking any payments at Fedex so you must order and pay for merchandise in advance and we can deliver to you on Sunday. All merchandise is $20 each. Game is on Fox Soccer Channel. The usual locals will have the game, Momo’s, Kitty O’Shea’s, the Pour House and Babylon Futbol Cafe.
United for D.C./United Build Playground project THIS WEEKEND
United for D.C. will be building a playground at one of the elementary schools they support in Anacostia. This is a three day project but if you can give some time on Saturday, that would be great. All of the details are here.
