We’ve read the snarky comments from the Sounders fans and their club President and we are now at the point where the rubber meets the road. This is a HUGE game for D.C. United and our passion and loyalty as supporters has been challenged so we need everyone to be there (and your bring friends and neighbors!)

TICKETS: There are tickets still available in the SE Nest and in the SE Aerie for the game on Wednesday. Tickets are $18. For the SE Nest, contact Nicole at tickets@screaming-eagles.com For the Aerie, contact outreach@screaming-eagles.com

TAILGATE: We will be having the usual weeknight tailgate fare: Pizza and Beer. We’ll start around 4:30 in lot 8. We’ll have limited supplies so if you’re going to be super hungry or thirsty (or arriving late), we suggest bringing your own picnic. If you would like to bring some dessert items to share that would be lovely. 

SE Wine Clubbers: We’ll have cups and bottle openers if you want to bring a bottle to share (something that goes with pizza?)

TIFO: Tim will be assembling the tifo for this game on Tuesday evening at his house starting at 6:30 pm and he will also need volunteer help with holding up items in the SE Nest on Wednesday. If you can help, please contact him at tifo@screaming-eagles.com for directions to his house and/or to help on Wednesday.

LAST CHANCE TO JOIN "WE WIN TROPHIES" TOUR:

The final event for the "We WIn Win Trophies" Tour will be on Tuesday, September 1 at the Green Turtle Sports Pub, 601 F St NW (at the Verizon Center) from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm (swing by on your way to the tifo party!) You can come out and take a picture with the 2008 US Open Cup trophy and enter contests to win D.C. United merchandise or memorabilia. United for D.C. will be going for the green at this event, 10% of the pubs total sales of the day will go towards their charity fundraising.
