We got word from D.C United that the US Open Cup Trophy will be joining us on the pub crawl this Saturday. So, are you coming too?
We have a little red wagon to bring it from bar to bar (and we’ll bring an umbrella in case it rains so it stays dry; you should bring one too). This is the FINAL push to get people out to U.S. Open Cup Championship game this coming Wednesday so the team really could use our help in spreading the word (and hey, why not have some fun and beer while doing it!) Bring your friends and neighbors, they don’t have to be SEs (they do have to be 21+ yrs old). No charge to participate, you’re responsible for the costs of your food and drinks. If you have a "We Win Trophies" t-shirt (or the Tradition t-shirt with the trophies), please wear that for the crawl.
The pub crawl plan is starting at Duffy’s (2106 Vermont Ave., NW, across Vermont from the 9:30 Club) starting at 4:00 pm. Duffy’s, will be offering weekday happy hour specials to us, ‘cuz our NW DC regiment captain asked soo nicely. From there, we’ll move on to Nellies (900 U St, NW) around 5:30 pm. Then it’s on to Solly’s (11th & U St) around 6:30 pm and lastly to Momo’s (1334 U St. NW) around 7:30 pm so we’ll have an hour to chill out and get ready for the Chicago-D.C. United game. Tmes are all approximate (should we bring a whistle to round you up?) You can easily get to U St via Metro (U St/Civil War Memorial stop).

There are tickets available in the SE Nest and in the SE Aerie for the game on Wednesday. Tickets are $18. For the SE Nest, contact Nicole at tickets@screaming-eagles.com For the Aerie, contact outreach@screaming-eagles.com We will be having the usual weeknight tailgate fare: Pizza and Beer. We’ll start around 4:30 in lot 8. We’ll have limited supplies so if you’re going to be super hungry or thirsty (or arriving late), we suggest bringing your own picnic.
