D.C. United @ Chivas USA, May 16

D.C. United-Chivas USA

Carson, CA

This is a late one so best to get to the bars early and claim your seat (maybe catch an earlier MLS game or two).

Both Momo’s Sports Bar and Kitty O’Shea’s will have the game on as usual (Babylon Futbol Cafe turns into a night club by 10 pm on Saturday’s so not a good bet for this one)

SE Road Trips-Where to Now?

SE Road Trip Director Jimi Butler would like to know if people are interested in going to New England (Saturday, May 30) and/or Seattle (Wednesday., June 17) to see D.C. United. We can make arrangements for tickets and possibly hotel accomodations if there are people who want to go. If there are other games coming up that you are interested in traveling to, please let him know that too. You can contact Jimi at roadtrips@screaming-eagles.com (please let him know ASAP so we can start making arrangements).

D.C. United Needs Help at Chili Cook-Off (May 16)

DC United will have a booth at the DC 101 Chili Cook-Off this Saturday, May 16 at RFK parking lots. They are looking for 4 additional energetic persons to walk the crowds handing out D.C. United pocket schedules.

D.C. United will provide each volunteer with a ticket to the event and a black D.C. United jersey which you can keep (feel free to accessorize with an SE pin or scarf!) The event runs from Noon-9 pm, the hours they need help are 1 pm -6 pm. Duties include basically walking the crowd and handing out the schedules (then you’re free to enjoy the cook-off and the bands). If you can help, please contact Mike Harloff at mharloff@dcunited.com
