D.C. United is putting together a team for the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and we’ve been invited to join them. The Screaming Eagles have a long history of Standing Up to help in this event. Our teams have raised thousands of dollars through the years and we hope to be able to continue to do so until a cure is found.

To register for the D.C. United team go here (if you’ve already registered for the race you can still join the team). Team name is D.C. United and the password is Talon. If you’re iffy on walking that distance, don’t worry, you can do it! (There are so many people who participate the pace is glacial, we lovingly call this event the plod for the cure!)
