The race for a new stadium is not the only game in town looking for a few United fans to get involved.

For those of you not venturing out to the Left Coast for our season opener… we have the perfect start to the day!

We have teamed up yet again with our friends at United for DC to help out at the SunTrust National Marathon on Saturday morning.

Program Coordinator, Kat Cheshire passes along the details:

We have volunteered to staff a water stop at mile 13 (right next to RFK Stadium itself in the parking lot). We are planning on turning our little oasis into a fun tailgate-style atmosphere with food, beverages, music and, of course a few black & red decorations to keep the runners pumped for the second half.

To sign up you can drop a note directly to Kat with your shirt size or just use the online volunteer registration form. Sign up under United for DC, just click on the link for the station (#A13) and come join in the race day fun!
