The tailgate crew had a wee bit of off-season fun last Saturday, mixing a little socializing with planning for the coming year. It was great to have a chance to get together to share not only food and drinks, but also ideas on how to improve our already scrumptious feasts before futbol matches at RFK! In between bites from Matthew’s award-winning chili concoction, Kim’s veggie casserole, Jeff’s chocoholic cookies  and swigs of Stella, Guinness, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Spaten – much was accomplished by our favorite denizens of Lot 8. If you missed out on this opportunity, don’t despair. All are welcome to join this august group of party planners. To top it all off, a hardy group of volunteers stayed late in order to help stuff the 2009 membership mailing. Our heartfelt thanks to all who braved tri-folding and the inevitable paper cuts.
