For those of you who thought you froze a few of your digits off on the Mall the other day – here’s a story of some really hardcore soccer fanatics! The few, the proud, the undaunted.

Yup. That’s right – nothing seems to stop the Screaming Eagles Pickup Crew from getting their games in, judging from the  match report below. You are more than welcome to come out every Saturday morning to join in, just check out this page for more details and these pics from a warmer morning:

Yes, it might have been 2F / -16C, but it was dry, sunny and most of the time wind free. We had great game 4 on 4 and I will just say that the following guys are the it!!!

Dark were:

Emmanuel
Tony…who at times had ice particles on the back of his head that was how cold it was!

White were:
Francisco
Daryle
Rob
Sasa… our humble on-scene player-reporter.

We had great games…3 in total when it comes to counting scores and at the end dark won overall by one goal margin.
