Volunteers STILL Needed for Tailgate We need help in ALL of the usual areas: set up/tear down, beer tent, buffet, grilling and membership table. (we are hosting a youth soccer group from PA so we need extra help this week). If you’re new to the club, this is a great way to get involved and meet some nice people (and you also get to eat for FREE!!) Tailgate Passes
Member passes are $6, non member $10 (non member pass is good for drinks and food). Please order passes in advance, it REALLY helps with menu planning if we know how many are coming.
You can pre-order passes for pickup at the ticket pick up table (next to membership) via Paypal by sending to payments@screaming-eagles.com (in the notes section, please indicate how many you are purchasing and if member or non-member). If you order by 4 pm Friday, Sept 12 we will have your name on a list, after 4 pm please print off your Paypal receipt and bring with you to the tailgate (we need a confirmation of pre-payment). At the tailgate turn in your pass at the tailgate check-in table where you will receive a wristband and then you can belly up to the buffet.
Passes for the tailgate are also available for purchase on the day of the game, cash only, at the SE ticket window.
Name that Tune-Win a Free Tailgate!
Come up with the best song title that best describes our upcoming game against FC Dallas and you can win a free tailgate (title can be something you make up or from an actual song). Email your entry to Kim by 5 pm on Friday, September 12 (include your name and email address). The winning entry will be posted on Saturday along with the playlist for the tailgate (winner will also be notified by email so please put email address you can be reached at during the weekend). Winner must use tailgate pass on the weekend that they win.
Reselling of Extra Tickets Policy
We realize the occasional emergency comes up and you find yourself with an extra ticket. The best way to try to find someone to help you recoop your costs is to post a note in the SE forum on Bigsoccer or the SE Facebook page. If it’s truly last minute you can come to the SE membership table and see if anyone has asked about extra tickets and we can try to make a “love connection.” Do not resell any unused tickets near ANY of the ticket booths at RFK Stadium (lot 4, 5 or the Main Gate). Selling or reselling any ticket in a public space, no matter the price, is a crime in the District and these areas are being watched.

For Nest season ticket holders, a chance to claim your regular seats and a discount on the price. Only $30 per ticket (limited to the number of half or full season tickets you hold).

The Annual International Coastal Cleanup is Coming Sept 20

Join fellow DC United fans as we again help out on International Coastal Cleanup Day and put our efforts into cleaning up our favorite riverbank (and you can see what Poplar Point looks like).
D.C. United supporters of all ages are welcome to participate and we are certainly expecting a great turnout for this community outreach activity.
The site we’ve chosen is located at Anacostia Park. We will all meet around the picnic tables that are covered beside the small playground. Use the Nicholson Street entrance to the park, you’ll see a parking lot and the picnic area on the left.
Bring sunscreen, bug repellant, a hat and long heavy rubber gloves (heavy duty kitchen gloves are good)
