On the plus side, the start time allowed me to try out something different to the podcast, bringing in Charlie to talk about the game rather than listen to only me yap about it. And he did a typically great job (here are his match reports). On the minus side, I think my laptop’s soundcard is fried, which is why there are dropouts and background noise even though the Media Lounge was empty (except for that woman who entered about midway through). If anybody wants to give me one of them fancy new MacBook Pros, I’ll gladly accept the donation.

But how about that reception for Ben Olsen? In the press box Aaron said that, if he scored, there would be a pitch invasion. I said I would lead it by jumping out of the box and onto the field.
